Q: What's the "Computer ID"? Where
could I find it? |
| A:
IconInvader will calculate a characteristic code called "Computer
ID" according to your computer hardware. The Computer ID is
something like "ZQHOUIOK-XFTNCFES-XAVVEJVE-XZSHV1". If you have not
registered your copy, there will pop up a registration dialog every
time you start IconInvader. And you can call out the registration
dialog by pressing the "Register" button in the main dialog too. You
could find your Computer ID in the registration dialog by pressing
the "Enter Registration Code..." button.. |

Q: What's the
"Language File"? What should I do if I want to translate it to my
own language? |
| A:
IconInvader has the ability of multi-languages support. But it
doesn't contain all the languages in the main program. There is a
sub-folder named "language" in the installation folder of
IconInvader (the default folder is "C:\Program
Files\ByteBase\IconInvader"). All the available languages
IconInvader can use are all in this folder. |
| If you want to make your own language
file, please do that as follows: |
|
| 1. in the "language" folder create a
new text file named "[LANGUAGE_NAME].ini" |
| Here [LANGUAGE_NAME] is
your native language name. You can name it at will as long as it is
not the same with the name of existing language files. |
|
| 2. copy all the contents of "english.ini" to the new file
created in step 1. |
| |
| 3. translate the contents of "[LANGUAGE_NAME].ini"
line by line. |
| Every line has the
following format: |
| a. # comment
string |
| b. [section_name] |
| c. name=value |
| d.
name="value" |
| Format a is a comment
string, you need not to translate them. Of course it is better you
translate them too, so that people who are of the same native
language with you can read them easily. |
| Format b is the section
name, you should NOT translate these strings! |
| Format c and d contain the
strings you need to translate. We will give some examples on how to
do that. For format c, such as the string Translator=ByteBase, you need to replace the string "ByteBase" with your own name. For format d, such
as string ChangeOptionGroupCaption="Change Option", you need
to replace "Change Option" on the
right of equal sign with your native language string. |
| We must note that "ANY
STRING ON THE LEFT OF EQUAL SIGN SHOULD NOT BE TRANSLATED!", or
these strings will not work correctly! |
| We will be much appreciated if you could translate the language file
to your own native language. So many more people could share your fruits!
In a return we
will mail you a license key for free and in our website we will
express our thanks to you too. If you have translated the language file,
please send it to us. Of course you need to mail us
your computer ID (refer to "FAQ: Computer ID"
) together. Please refer to
"How to register". |
